This weeks #tuffspottuesday is reflections.
This week our tuff spot is inspired by our trip to The National museum in Edinburgh at the weekend. They have a fab space area at the museum and each time we’ve been Little bee has been mesmerised by the lights, the stars and the planets.
He spent ages looking at the stars and touching them and this gave me an idea about our tuff spot Tuesday.
What you’ll need:
- Tuff Spot
- Chalk pen
- Glow in the dark stars
- Unbreakable household materials/junk
- Kitchen foil
- Variety of lights
- Glow sticks/bracelets
The first thing i did was wrap a variety of non breakable items with kitchen foil. I made sure i used a mix of shapes and sizes to make it a little more interesting. After i did this i used a liquid chalk pen to draw a space background on the tuff spot. I drew a moon but any space image could be used when doing this part. The last thing i did was fill the tuff spot with the items. I arranged the items around the outside and popped in the lights and glow bracelets. I organised and arranged the tuff spot while Little Bee was having his afternoon nap but waited to switch the lights on until later in the afternoon when the light started to fade outside.
